Just like how people who are hyperventilating breath into a paper bag, this same technique can be used for those suffering from hiccups. Just like how you would do it when dealing with hyperventilation, take a paper bag and place it over the nose and mouth then take deep breaths, making sure the bag inflates and deflates. Be sure to take continuous breath that fully inflate and deflate the diaphragm in a continuous manner. Do this until the hiccups subside and go away.
