This is a nasty trick food stylists use on fruits for that extra shiny look. And it may happen more often than you think. We all want to eat fresh fruit, not one that looks old and rotting. While fresh fruits are used in commercial photo shoots, the stylist makes them even look fresher than fresh, if that is possible. The extraordinarily shiny look tells you that some make-up has been used on the fruits. And it most likely is deodorant spray. It may look amazingly fresh, but it is outrageously inedible.
