Have you seen a commercial of corn on the cob with melted butter? Looks so yummy right? But, the corn is not really hot, and the butter melts using tricks by the food stylist. They may use a portable steamer, or a hot spatula, to make the butter melt on cold food, and trickle down just like if it were on hot corn.
