A More Unique Field of Work
While cops often made extra money elsewhere, Sepulveda’s male colleagues worked in more traditional fields. Many worked as plumbers or electricians during their spare time. Others also took on trade work. This came as no surprise as the career choice was in tune with what the others might expect from them. They had careers that required the use of hands, and so their works outside made use of the same skill set. As for Sepulveda, though, she claims that she had been under the microscope ever since.
