If you are invited to a party, a dinner or another type of social event, aside from a wedding, that calls for giving presents, never give money. Unless you are incredibly close to the person that you gifting it too, then always bring an actual gift, wrapped in the proper type of wrapping too! And don’t get shocked if the receiver opens up your gift right in front of you. They don’t like to wait.
