The Dutch do not appreciate a French exit, so never leave without saying goodbye. No matter the reason you need to go, just get up and announce that you need to leave. They will prefer that you give some sort of lame excuse. Of course, depending on the type of situation you’re in, don’t also leave unless the rest of the people you arrived with are also going.
