Never Pee In The Canal

These 17th century Amsterdam canals were named a UNESCO Heritage Site for a reason. Not only are they incredibly picturesque, but they run for a span of at least 60-miles. But just because the Netherlands is very relaxed when it comes to weed, prostitution and other forms of recreation, it doesn’t mean that the city isn’t civilized. Never pee in the canals unless you want to get fined. Be responsible and pee in the nearest public restroom, no matter how much your bladder is screaming for release.
