It is not a farm really and is not just an alternative amusement place to Disneyland. It began in the 1920s as a road-side berry stand run by Walter Knott along Route 39 in California. The 1940s saw the construction of a restaurant, several shops and other attractions to entertain a growing number of visitors. By 1968, admission charges were added, after it transformed into a modern amusement park through 2 decades. It may not be as full of things to do, which is good as you probably can maximize your experience in one long afternoon. There are basically four themed areas –  Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, The Boardwalk, and Camp Snoopy. Each have several rides and attractions unique to its themes. It may not be as popular as Disneyland Park, but it has its own entertainment value.
