Gordon admits that the entire park and the plans that they came up with was a total pipedream, but he was committed to making it happen. Plus he had to worry about whether the park would make any money at all. He went on to explain, “When we opened this, we didn’t know if it was going to work. We knew we were gambling with a $35 million investment. All we wanted to do was bring people who have special needs and people who don’t have special needs together and play.”
