Iowa is known for its wonderful colleges, campers, and corn. However, many still opt to move away because of the extreme weather conditions. This is true for many of the states. The average low during winter is 14 degrees Fahrenheit. Simply put, you’ll have to contend with freezing winters as you count the days until the season is over.
