Despite the growing market of job opportunities, residents are likened to the Indy 500 drivers. They just can’t wait to get away and see the city from their rearview mirrors. The extreme weather conditions and bad roads are reasons enough to drive them away in hordes. Plus, the racing spectacle that happens during Memorial Day weekend is just too much for them. Still, there are those hopeful enough and believe that the city is bound to get out of its rut soon enough. Others are just too impatient to wait.
