Locals can tell you right now that it’s better to take the public transportation than drive a car around Chicago. The traffic here has known to crush a few souls and leave people disgusted with how the city has been planned. But that’s not why people are moving out. Many can’t stand the extreme weather conditions. Winters here are unforgiving and people prefer to move to more temperate climates. Another reason? The high property taxes, and with that also comes the more expensive costs for just about anything.
