The city’s capital is steeped in rich history and culture. For those who appreciate a good story, this should be a good enough reason. But that’s not enough to make people stay and build a life here. The public school systems are at an all time low, since they’re known for their unimpressive test scores and graduation rates. Hence, people just opted to move to Washington DC where history and culture is just as impressive, if not more so. And where their children could actually get some quality education.
