Considering all the different ways to pronounce names (Ralph Fiennes, anyone?), it is understandable that Siri can get things wrong from time to time. Thankfully, you can teach her how to do better. There is a quick process to help her get it right, and you can do it for yourself or any of your contacts. Just use the Siri command, “Learn to pronounce”, then say your name or your contact’s name. Tell Siri how to pronounce the first name, choosing from the options given. Then, tell her how to pronounce the surname, choosing again from the options available. You can also repeat how to pronounce it by tapping “Tell Siri again”, if the options you see aren’t quite right.
