Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Another therapy known as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, is a new modality being studied by experts as a supplementary treatment for Bipolar patients who do not respond well to medication. TMS involves the passing of magnetic waves through a patient’s skull to stimulate certain areas of the brain known to influence mood and behavior.
