Combination Antidepressant-Antipsychotic Drugs

Drugs that control both manic and depressive episodes are also used in the treatment of Bipolar disorder and are usually a combination of an antidepressant and a mood stabilizer or antipsychotic. One example of such drug is Symbax, a drug that contains both the antidepressant (fluoxetine), and the antipsychotic (olanzapine).
