There are times that the symptoms of Bipolar disorder continue despite being treated with other medications. Doctors may opt to supplement treatment with a group of drugs called antipsychotics, drugs that can work alone or hand-in-hand with mood stabilizers.
Examples of these drugs include olanzapine (Zyprexa), risperidone (Risperdal), asenapie (Saphris), aripriprazole (Abilify), quetiapine (Seroquel), ziprasidone (Geodon), and lurasidone (Latuda).
