Surprise! A Maserati is on this list?! Unfortunately, this stylish Italian midsized car has its share of setbacks.  The Ghibli, both its petrol and diesel V6 engines, are a letdown as the two variants do not offer enough power to deliver an excellent performance.  It was also ranked last out of the 17 midsize luxury cars.  According to Consumer Reports, it offers a firm ride but has sloppy handling and does not have enough room on the rear seat.  It is one unreliable Italian automobile.  The Maserati Ghibli is the name of three different cars produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer namely: the AM115, the AM 336, and the M157.
