This comedy icon star attended Cal State as a philosophy major. He was so impressed by the school that he considered becoming a professor. But later on, his motivations changed and he transferred to UCLA to major in theater. Good move considering he earns so much more than a professor. He does look really smart. And his comedy is not for the dull-witted. Some comedians just have the talent to entertain people from all walks of life with intelligent humor. Steve Martin definitely has what it takes.
