He was the Russian bad boy in Rocky IV which catapulted him to fame as an action star. Since then he has done several action flicks, including the Expendables franchise from Israeli producer Avi Lerner. Brawn and brains this time. Though he does look tougher than intelligent. But he graduated high school with straight A’s, received various academic scholarships from universities in the US, got an undergraduate degree from the Royal Institute of Technology. He has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney. Then he received a Fulbright scholarship to MIT and moved to Boston. Unfortunately, just after 2 weeks of classes, he left to pursue acting. It seems he had a passion for acting. Good for him, and good for us as well.
