Befitting her role as a neurobiologist in the hit TV show The Big Bang Theory, she actually has a PhD in neuroscience from UCLA. This actress first got her B.S., then went back to school for her doctorate. She was accepted to Harvard and Yale but chose to study closer to home. Her dissertation was an investigation of hypothalamic activity in patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Some topic a genius would have thought of.  Reel life comes to real, no wonder she plays the part so well. She really does look like a brainy person. And she can handle comedy as well. Probably also has a PhD in comedy.
