Many women swooned over Firth when he played Mark Darcy in Bridget Jones’s Diary. Unfortunately, he was married at that time, but after 22 years of marital bliss, Firth and Giuggioli found themselves in a painful divorce. Although no one really knows about the details of the settlement, many have assumed that the Italian producer will get half his net worth. They decided to end things two years after Giuggioli admitted to having an affair with an Italian journalist and childhood friend named Marco Brancaccia. Despite trying to work through the affair and raise two sons as a team, it looks as if Firth couldn’t get past the infidelity issue and they have decided to part ways for good this time around.
