In 2007, Lukyanova was awarded the title of “Miss Diamond Crown of the World” — a sketchy beauty pageant that doesn’t seem to have a website when you search for it online. It was a competition open to any women, and it had about 300 contestants. There were also no rules forbidding plastic surgery or body modification, so allegedly, it was where plastic surgeons liked to show off their handiwork. Lukyanova won the 2007 Diamond Crown, then went through a series of photo sessions and interviews published in Russian media.
