Lukyanova was born on 23 August 1985 in Tiraspol, which used to be part of the Moldavian SSR in the Soviet Union. She says she is of “Eastern Baltic, but closer to Nordic” origin — however the closest thing Russia has to Nordic ancestry is the Rus’, an offshoot of Slavic vikings. Lukyanova’s mother, Irinia, was in the military, while her father was in construction. He was also a DJ. She’s always been considered a beauty, as can be seen from these pictures from her childhood.
