In 2013, Lukyanova was the subject of a Vice documentary entitled “Space Barbie”. That same year, she also participated in another documentary entitled “The Phase” which was released on YouTube in seven different languages. A few years later, Lukyanova had her debut starring role in a feature film entitled, “The Doll” in 2017. It was a horror movie directed by Susannah O’Brien starring the Human Barbie as well as Mindy Robinson and Ron Jeremy. The plot revolves around Lukyanova’s character, who is an escort made from doll parts created by a doctor to recruit others to kill. It was presented at Cannes that year.
