You may all know him as the runner-up of the first season of American Idol. He attempted to start a music career, but we all know how that turned out. He then decided to try and find his footing on stage. He delved into Broadway actor and starred in everything – from Wicked to American Idiot. Finally, he was cast in a commercial, and this may have actually been his true calling all along. Since 2015, he’s played Lil’ Sweet in the Dr. Pepper commercials. They say that makes $250,000 per year for this. And because he speaks in falsetto, this has interestingly revved up his pop career.
