Another famous commercial actor would be Monica Ruiz. She was the woman who played the wife in the famously panned Peloton holiday commercial. In the script, Ruiz looked a bit worried as she embarked on a yearlong fitness journey. This started when she got a Peloton exercise bike for Christmas. The ad got some backlash from people who considered it to be quite sexist. For Ruiz, she said, “Honestly, I think it was just my face. My eyebrows looked worried, I guess. People were like, ‘You look scared.’ I’m telling you, it was my face, that was the problem, and it just exploded it from there.” Even with the negative comments, Ruiz has been set to play a role in two episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful.
