In 2012, Samsung came out with an ad for its new Galaxy S3. They didn’t expect this commercial to be one of the more popular ones. The script called for a suburban housewife, played by Margaret Emery. In it, she shares a private, for-his-eyes-only video with her husband using her Samsung. This is where the ad became known as “The Naughty Mom Commercial.” This specific ad successfully helped launch the new phone. In fact, the ad racked up millions of viewers in just two years. By 2015, Samsung had also sold more than 70 million S3s. As for Emery, she still continues to do commercials.
