Well, interestingly, over a million other kids who misbehaved were sent to military schools. It was the norm then. Parents believed it would instill discipline and structure the youths to gain respect. Things which they could not do themselves no doubt. Works for some, for others not. Obviously the President of the US should command respect. With so much power at his beck and call, how can you not respect that? Whether he was schooled in a military academy is of no consequence.
