Nicholas Cage and His Bout With Magic Mushrooms

Nicolas Cage has always been an odd fellow. But little did David Letterman know that when he invited the actor onto his set, Cage would go on to tell him all about that time he tripped out on magic mushrooms with none other than his pet cat, Lewis. Apparently little Lewis decided to snack on some magic mushrooms, and rather than bring him to the vet, Cage decided it would be a better idea to take some shrooms too. He shared, “I remember lying in my bed for hours, and Lewis was on the desk across from the bed for hours, staring at each other… not moving. But he would stare at me, and I had no doubt that he was my brother.” He could have fooled us but we’re pretty sure that it was the shrooms talking.
