When Whoopi Goldberg Does A “Whoopi” on The View

During a 2014 episode on the talk show, The View, Whoopi had supposedly farted while seated with the other women on the couch. Of course the incident got tons of bad publicity, and Whoopi went on to say share that it was all just a joke to cover up some strange sound effect they had on the show. She explained, “There was a sound effect that we had never heard before. I’m thinking, ‘Damn, that’s weird, what can I do?’ Oh, I know! I’m gonna pretend I let a little something go. As a joke.” Although not everyone believed her, the joke has now become the subject of some real awkward conversation, but she still insists that it wasn’t real. It’s up to you whether you want to believe her or not.
