It’s hard to imagine that hunky Hollywood actor and producer, Matthew McConaughey used to be a lanky, awkward-looking college dude once-upon-a-time, but Twitter user @peytonnheisen has a photo to prove it! The picture shows the “True Detective” and “Magic Mike” star posing with Ms. Heisen’s cousin, whom she claims the actor dated while in college.

McConaughey first gained notice in 1993 for the move “Dazed and Confused,” in which he played David Wooderson, an ageing, Ted Nugent t-shirt-wearing, stoned, coed-hunting, pink jeans-wearing party boy, created by the film’s writer and director, Richard Linklater. In 2014, many years and dozens of roles after, the talented actor bagged himself an Academy Award for Best actor for his role as a cowboy diagnosed with AIDS, in the movie Dallas Buyers Club.
