Not all the pictures on this list are of people who dated celebrities. Some, like this one with John Travolta, are of people who knew them from their childhood. Redditor /Trillionn dug up a copy of the “Grease” actor posing with his grandmother during a stage production he appeared in way back. According to /Trillionn, Travolta and his mom were friends when they were kids, and that the picture was taken when his grandma went to see his show.
The 65-year-old actor, singer and dancer, gained popularity in the 70s, first appearing on TV as part of the cast of the series “Welcome Back, Kotter,” which aired from 1975-1979. He later went on to star in 1977’s “Saturday Night Fever,” and 1978’s “Grease,” which sealed him as one of Hollywood’s most popular actors. Aside from acting, the actor is also an accomplished commercial airline pilot, having been inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation in 2007.
