To many, Jamie Foxx is an Academy award-winning actor, singer, presenter, comedian, and producer. But to a select few, like Twitter user @mikaelakistner, he is known simply as “Uncle Jamie.” Apparently, Ms. Kistner’s aunt used to date Foxx when she was little, which is why she and her siblings had the privilege of calling him fondly as such. She even has a photo of them with the “Ray” star to prove it!
In 2004, Jamie Foxx won the Oscar, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award, Critic’s Choice Movie Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for the biopic “Ray,” in which he portrayed talented and decorated musician, Ray Charles. He is not only a talented actor but is also a Grammy Award-winning musician, producing chart-topping albums namely: Unpredictable, Intuition, Best Night of My Life, and Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses.
