Twitter user @heyitsjaii_ was dumbfounded when she found out her mom dated multi-awarded American singer, songwriter, producer, actor and philanthropist, John Legend. She probably wouldn’t have believed it, if it weren’t for this photo of her mom and the crooner, which she shared online. She captioned it: “So my mom decides to tell me she dated John Legend secretly when I was 10???”

Among the many awards that the singer has received during his career are: 2007 Academy and Golden Globe awards for Best Original Song (Glory from the movie, “Selma), 10 Grammy Awards, and A 2017 Tony Award for the Broadway play, “Jitney,” which he co-produced.
