Campbell-Martin first appeared on screen in the musical comedy flick, “Little Shop of Horrors,” which opened in theaters in 1986. She became a household name for her role in the comedy series, “Martin,” which aired on Fox from 1992 to 1997, playing the role of Gina Waters-Payne.

Between her screen debut and recent TV appearances, the actress appeared in a number of films including “School Daze,” “Rooftops,” “Another 48 Hrs.,” Boomerang,” and “House Party,” for which she received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female nomination. In 2005, the actress was awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the comedy series, “My Wife and Kids,” which aired on ABC from 2001 to 2005.
