China made the longest wall, so why not add bridge to the list of their pathways? The Sidu River Bridge, built back in 2009, actually connects Shanghai to the town of Chongqing. The 1,222-mile long bridge was one of the most expensive bridges to ever get built, costing a whopping $100 million. It was hard to build because of the terrain and the fact that it is also 1627-feet above the lowest area of the ground below. And considering that it has nothing holding it up in the middle would make anyone’s stomach make a major flip flop if they had no choice but to cross it.
