It’s fascinating that people are still willing to drive their cars over a bridge that the locals call the “Bridge of Death.” The original name is the Quepos Bridge, and it’s found in Costa Rica. Part of the reason why it was given its nickname is because the bridge, which is 130-feet above water, already has missing planks and wide gaps spanning the way, making it quite difficult to maneuver a vehicle across its expanse. Apparently most of the locals trust that the bridge is still perfectly suitable to use, even though they very well could plummet to their death.
