There are many reasons why people get fever, profusely sweat and end up getting shaking chills such as hypothermia, alcohol withdrawal, either a viral or bacterial infection, and many other cases. But while the flu or other types of sicknesses can be the cause, if they are accompanied by a fever – especially one that’s higher than 102 degrees Fahrenheit – there’s a big chance that it’s due to pneumonia.
