Born in Durban, South Africa in March 29, 1971, journalist Lara Logan is best known as a war correspondent for CBS News’ 60 Minutes, reporting from war zones and numerous regions of conflict, including Iraq and Afghanistan, before leaving the network and joining the Sinclair Broadcast Group. A graduate of the University of Natal with a degree in commerce, Logan has been involved with several high-profile stories, including the Benghazi attack in September 2012, and along with her crew, was once arrested by the Egyptian Army while covering the Egyptian revolution on February 2011. The gutsy correspondent has also been signed by Fox News to host a documentary series, No Agenda With Lara Logan. She and her crew very recently made the news when they were cornered by Mexican cops while investigating sex trafficking in Tenacingo, Mexico.
