Current anchor of CBS Evening News Norah O’Donnell is a television journalist who began her career in broadcasting at a very young age, giving videotaped English lessons for the Korean Educational Development Institute while her family was living in Seoul. A graduate of Georgetown University, the Irish American beauty spent more than a decade with NBC News before joining CBS News in 2011 as the Chief White House Correspondent. She has then anchored several programs including CBS This Morning from 2012 to May of 2019, and currently fills in as host and correspondent for Face the Nation and 60 Minutes in addition to being anchor and managing editor of CBS Evening News, a role she assumed in July 2019.
