Beautiful dog but difficult to train. They are highly intelligent, but mischievous and independent. Training them requires a lot of patience and consistency. They have a very high energy level and are slow-maturing dogs. They stay puppies for longer periods, both physically and mentally. Short and positive training sessions are best for this breed. They are a hunting breed that requires a lot of outdoor exercise. Best for owners who love the outdoors as well.
