This Asian breed can be strong and aggressive. And they are as tough as they come. They are an old breed meant to protect its owners. However, they are self-centered and are not eager to please their owner. So training should be strong and stern, or this dog will take on the Alpha role and feel superior. They don’t take punishment well, so positive reinforcement is needed. Not really a breed good with children. Particularly noisy and active kids. They get irritated easily. So note this if you plan to get one.
