The eldest daughter of former Angolan president Jose Eduardo Santos, who ruled until 2017, is considered the richest woman in Africa with significant investments in Angola’s major industries, including banking, cement, telecoms, and diamonds. She also has investments in similar industries in Portugal, including the cable TV firm Nos SGPS, and holdings in Trans Africa Investment Services in Gibraltar, Unitel International Holdings and Esperanza Holding B.V. in Amsterdam, and Santoro Finance in Lisbon.
