A recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, in 2013, Oprah has been rumored to run for the U.S. presidency in 2020 after her Golden Globes speech in 2018 but has since shot down the idea, saying that it doesn’t interest her.
