Called the “Queen of All Media,” Oprah Winfrey amassed her staggering wealth mainly through her daytime TV show, which ended in 2011, and earnings from her production company, Harpo. She launched her own cable channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network or OWN, the same year, which would eventually absorb Harpo productions. The 65-year old American is also known as a philanthropist, and a strong advocate for education and children’s rights.
