Rabiu, who is one of the largest private property owners in Nigeria, also owns properties worth several millions in Britain and South Africa. He first joined the billionaire’s list in 2013 but dropped off the list after two years due to the devaluation of the Nigerian Naira. He has since bounced back, at least $650 million richer due to the recent merging of his Kalambiana Cement, a subsidiary of his BUA Cement, with the Cement Company of Northern Nigeria or CCNN, a publicly traded firm where he was also the controlling shareholder.
