Never Use Red Ink When Writing A Name

There’s a superstition in Korea concerning the use of red ink. Since this particular color was traditionally used in writing the names of their deceased in funeral banners and family registers, it is considered a bad omen to write someone’s name with it. Make sure you always have a black pen for writing purposes.
