Prince was one of the most unique pop stars of his generation, and incredibly talented at that. He actually wrote his very first song at the age of 7, and managed to be named ‘one of the greatest musicians of all time.’ Although he first popped onto the scene in the late 70s, it was truly in the 80s where his bigger hits like “1999,” “Little Red Corvette” and “Purple Rain” became highly famous. As his career grew, Prince underwent a number of changes including his name, which went from Prince to an actual symbol. Unfortunately, he died from an overdose of fentanyl when he was just 57 years old even though he supposedly didn’t touch drugs, all while his career was still going.
