Another singer and actress that was part of an infamous duo was Cher, of Sonny & Cher. Their hit song “I Got You Babe” reached number 1 all the way back in 1965, and made them a worldwide name. They eventually broke up but while her marriage didn’t last, her career certainly continued to soar, landing parts in movies like ‘Moonstruck,’ which was released in 1987. She would go on to make many more films, as well as tons of other music. Amazingly, 73-year old singer is still a sought after performer and continues to sell out shows everywhere she goes.
